Things to Know Before Contracting a Product Photographer

You are a small start-up and your dream is to get the independence that small business rewards the hard-working entrepreneur. You have spent your nights and weekends learning, researching, and doing what you need to accomplish your goals. You have been innovative, compromising, and demanding to get to this point. You have gone down many paths that were fruitless and now you view most claims with a healthy amount of skepticism. The time has come to contract a Professional Product Photographer to come up with the visual material to support your advertising plan but experience has taught you that if you don’t have solid ideas the process can become very expensive. What do you do?

As a Product Photographer, my usual new customer is new to product photography and advertising. While they have done a lot of research, there is a span between academic study and experience that has yet to be crossed and having solid ideas on these questions can save a lot of your advertising budget.
